1. Scope & contact
This policy applies to wellbeingcurrent.com and its pages. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Wellbeing Current publication. For questions or requests, contact server@wellbeingcurrent.com. This policy does not govern external websites, merchants, or services that you reach through links on our pages.
The website currently provides public articles and information pages. It does not offer reader accounts, an online checkout, a public comment system, or a newsletter signup. You do not need to provide your name or email address to read it.
2. Information you choose to provide
When you email us, we receive your email address, the name shown in your message, the message content, and any attachments you choose to send. Your email provider and ours also process ordinary delivery details, such as timestamps and routing headers. We use this information to answer, investigate a correction, handle a request, or maintain a record of the conversation.
Please provide only what is needed. We do not ask for medical records, government identity numbers, precise location, payment-card information, or passwords. If you send unnecessary sensitive information, we may remove it rather than use it.
3. Technical information from visits
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, receives information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include IP address, requested URL, time of request, browser or device headers, referring website, approximate country, and security signals. These details may be processed in service and security logs. They help deliver pages, identify errors, limit abuse, and keep the service available.
We do not use those details on the current journal pages to build advertising profiles. Images, styles, and icons are served from our own domain. No Google Analytics, advertising pixel, embedded social widget, or third-party video player is loaded by the current journal or policy pages.
4. Cookies, browser storage & measurement
The current journal and policy pages do not set first-party cookies or use local storage for analytics or marketing. Infrastructure may use essential security technologies when needed to distinguish legitimate traffic from abuse. Read our cookie policy for the current technology inventory and browser controls.
The presence of a link containing a campaign identifier does not mean every page uses an analytics service. Any future introduction of optional analytics, advertising, or embedded content must be accompanied by an updated disclosure and any required choice before those technologies operate.
5. Links, advertising & affiliate partners
If a page includes a paid relationship or a link that may earn us a commission, the page should identify that relationship. Following an external link sends your request to that destination, which may receive your IP address, browser details, a referring origin, and identifiers included in that link. The destination may set its own cookies and handle purchase or conversion records under its own policy.
No product checkout or commission-earning product link is offered in the launch journal articles. We do not receive your payment-card information when you buy from an external merchant. Read the merchant’s privacy and purchase terms before providing information.
6. Why information is used
- To deliver the pages you request and maintain website security.
- To respond to messages and exercise or defend legal rights.
- To investigate errors, correction reports, and suspected misuse.
- To handle privacy and accessibility requests.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, operational security and ordinary correspondence may rely on legitimate interests, assessed against your rights; a legally required record may rely on a legal obligation. If a future activity requires consent, we will seek it for that activity. We do not treat merely reading this policy as consent.
7. Who receives information
Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, security, email delivery, and technical maintenance, limited to their role. Cloudflare is the website hosting and network provider; its privacy policy describes its processing. Authorized service personnel may access information when necessary to operate the service or resolve a request.
We may disclose information when required by lawful process, to protect rights and safety, or in a genuine business transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not publish private correspondence as testimonials without permission. We do not sell personal information, and the current journal pages do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, security, and dispute requirements. Routine correspondence is ordinarily reviewed for deletion within 24 months after a matter closes. A correction record, unresolved request, or legal issue may need a longer record. Spam and unnecessary attachments may be removed sooner.
Infrastructure logs follow the hosting provider’s applicable configuration and retention practices; we do not promise an identical period across its systems. Deletion from active systems may precede expiry of restricted backups. When a specific retention period is legally required, that period takes priority.
9. International processing & security
The internet, our hosting network, and email providers operate across borders. Information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we rely on the appropriate contractual or other lawful arrangements available for the service.
HTTPS protects data in transit to this website. Access controls and service protections help reduce unauthorized access, but no website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential records through ordinary email.
10. Your choices & rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent for a consent-based activity without affecting prior lawful processing. Rights have exceptions, including records we must retain or information we cannot reasonably identify.
Email server@wellbeingcurrent.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need limited verification to protect your information and will explain any refusal or limitation. Authorized agents may contact us with evidence of authority. We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law and will explain a permitted extension when necessary. You will not be penalized for exercising an applicable right.
Residents of jurisdictions with sale or targeted-advertising opt-out rights can send an opt-out request to the same address. The current site does not perform those activities. Global Privacy Control does not trigger an optional advertising tool because none is loaded on these pages. Browser Do Not Track signals do not have a uniformly implemented technical standard here.
11. Children & sensitive information
The publication is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information should contact us so we can assess and remove it where appropriate. We do not knowingly use sensitive information for profiling.
12. Complaints & changes
Please contact us first if something about our handling of information concerns you. You may also complain to the data protection regulator or other authority available in your location, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local EEA supervisory authority where applicable.
We update this policy when our practices or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. A material new use of information will receive any additional notice or consent required; publishing an amended policy alone does not supply consent.
